Paper Arts

Origami, Kirigami and Papercraft

Our Value Proposition

Empowering Makers' Minds

Hard Skills

Paper art enhances logical, mathematical, geometric and spatial reasoning. By crafting three-dimensional figures using interlocking forms and shapes, children are challenged to abstract and simplify shapes through artistic expression.

Soft Skills

Working with paper activities not only booster hard skills such as fine motor coordinations but also improves their patience, focus and concentration, while reducing stress and improving memory.

Learn

Origami

Origami is the art of paper folding to create intricate shapes and designs, often representing animals, flowers, objects, and abstract forms. The goal of origami is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a three-dimensional sculpture without the use of scissors or glue.

Learn

Kirigami

Kirigami is a form of paper art that combines both folding and cutting. It uses scissors or a knife to cut intricate shapes, patterns, or details into the paper, enabling the creation of more complex and delicate designs.

Learn

Papercraft

The creative practice of making objects, sculptures, or designs primarily using paper as the main material. It encompasses various techniques such as cutting, folding, gluing, and assembling paper to produce both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art.

Papercraft can range from simple paper models to highly intricate and detailed sculptures, and it often involves a combination of artistic skills, precision, and patience.

Make

Paper Arts

Paper art encourages creativity, as individuals tackle challenges of varying complexity through small, hands-on projects that can be personalized by children, making the activity both engaging and rewarding.

It also fosters patience and adaptability, since transforming the paper requires following specific rules and steps, and learning to leverage them to your advantage.
